This Academy Live Recorded session examines how supply chain glitches affect shareholder value; specifically the focus is on changing stock prices and stock returns after a supply chain glitch is announced.

Course Description

This two-part series presents objective and hard evidence on the relationship between supply chain performance and corporate performance by estimating the detrimental impact of supply chain glitches on performance.

This course discusses how the impact of performance varies by different firm characteristics and competitive environments. This course looks at how this results in making the business case for supply chain initiatives and justifying investments in technologies and solutions that improve supply chain performance.

The target audience for this course is those individuals who are involved in developing and implementing supply chain solutions, senior supply chain managers, chief information officers, and chief financial officers.

Impact of Supply Chain Performance on Corporate Profitability: Part 2 of 2--is the continuation of this course and examines the impact of glitches on performance measures, specifically: profitability, sales growth, cost structure, and inventory turnover.
