About the Course

This four-hour online self-study course builds awareness and basic knowledge of supply chain management concepts and solutions.

Course Description

This course provides an overview of basic supply chain principles and processes. It focuses on the five main components of a typical supply chain:

  1. Suppliers
  2. Manufacturers
  3. Distributors
  4. Retailers
  5. Consumers

The course also highlights the typical problems that companies encounter within each of these supply chain areas, and what solutions and best practices can be implemented to overcome them. The target audience for this course is those with no prior experience in supply chain management.
